Mandatory Training: Citizens Renewals in Clearinghouse Powered by EZLynx
10.16.25

As announced in the September 4, 2025, Personal Lines Bulletin, renewals will soon be processed through the Clearinghouse Powered by EZLynx®.

To ensure agents and their staff understand how renewals will flow through the Clearinghouse and their role in the process, Citizens will be assigning mandatory training via the Citizens Learning Center (CLC).

Action Required: Mandatory Online Curriculum

  • On or after October 28, 2025, all agents, agency principals, and licensed customer representatives (LCR) will receive an email from LMS@citizensfla.com with the subject line The Renewal Clearinghouse Program.
  • This email will contain a direct link to the mandatory training in the CLC.
  • The training curriculum must be completed by January 9, 2026.

Note: For appointed agents, failure to complete this course by the stated deadline will result in termination of your Citizens appointment.

Optional Webinars Coming Soon

Citizens will offer additional optional learning opportunities to ensure understanding of the Clearinghouse process for renewals. These free webinars will aim to answer your most frequently asked questions and provide best practices for managing your renewals. More information will be coming soon.

You also can access CLC on the Agents site:

  • Selecting Citizens Learning Center from the Systems menu at the top of the webpage.
  • Enter the session name, Citizens Renewals, in the search box at the top of the CLC homepage, and press Enter.
  • The search results will display all available training related to your search criteria. Select The Renewal Clearinghouse Program module to take this course.

The module does not:

  • Provide continuing education credits for maintaining a Florida insurance license
  • Satisfy initial appointment requirements for Citizens. For more appointment information, see How to Join Citizens in our website's About Us section under Business to Business > Agencies.
