Retirement of Dwelling Property Tenant Forms

Due to low demand and with approval from the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR), Citizens no longer offers the following new-business policy forms effective October 1, 2021:

Dwelling Property 3 – Special Form (CIT DP-3) Tenant Contents
Mobilehome Dwelling Property 1 – Basic Form (CIT MDP-1) Tenant Contents

Note: Agents still can submit an unbound application for a Dwelling Property 1 – Basic Form (CIT DP-1) Tenant Contents if all other underwriting and eligibility requirements are met and no other coverage is available for the risk.

Renewals

There are no changes to renewals for policies currently using these forms. Agents are not required to rewrite these policies on a different form.

Website Changes

References to these policy forms have been updated in the underwriting manuals.
