Citizens Is Available to Policyholders Impacted by Hurricane Ian in Fort Myers Beach
10.13.22

Citizens Property Insurance Corporation representatives will be available to assist Citizens policyholders at a satellite location in Fort Myers Beach on Friday, October 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer questions and help those recovering from Hurricane Ian.

Citizens representatives will join Representative Bob Rommel, R-Naples, to answer customers’ questions, assist in the claims filing process and provide checks for additional living expenses if included in the policy. Policyholders should bring the following information: insured property address, phone number, claim or policy number, photos and any other relevant documentation.

“As Florida continues to recover from Hurricane Ian, taking care of your insurance needs is a critical step,” Rommel said. “Having Citizens here on the ground will make it easier for those who still need to file a claim or receive an additional living expense check. Our goal is to make the claims process less burdensome as residents try to recover from Hurricane Ian.”

  • When: Friday, October 14. Hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
