Violet Bloom is responsible for leading all of Citizens’ “people” and facility functions, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning and Development, Facilities Management, Human Resources Information Systems and Human Resources Strategic Services. Bloom partners with leaders across the organization to develop and execute strategic human resources and real estate strategies that represent the organization’s culture and values while maximizing organizational effectiveness.

Bloom is an accomplished HR executive with more than 30 years of experience in both corporate and human resources consulting roles for private and public sector organizations. Prior to joining Citizens, Bloom was Assistant Vice President of Compensation, Recognition and Payroll with the University of Miami. She has extensive experience with the design and delivery of enterprise-wide, high-impact employee programs and solutions that align with the strategic objectives and unique culture of an organization to enhance the overall employee experience. She also held HR leadership roles at Indiana University, University of Notre Dame and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.

Bloom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial management from Georgia Institute of Technology. She holds multiple professional certifications, including Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), WorldatWork Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and International Coach Federation Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
