Servicing Levels Within the Agency

Effective April 25, 2015, Citizens-appointed agents within the same agency can service policies on behalf of the agent of record in PolicyCenter®, as long as an agent’s writing authority matches the policy type. 
In servicing the policy, an agent can: 
  • Request approval for a policy change
  • Request cancellation of a policy
  • Submit activities, such as a reinstatement 
Note: Only the agent of record can submit new business.  
PolicyCenter defaults to this servicing level. 
Agency principals can email Agency Administration to request their agency be changed to a single-location servicing level, which limits servicing of other agents’ policies to those in the same physical location.
